Residential Care for Chronic / Severe Mental Illness

We believe the primary mechanism of therapeutic change is structural. In other words, that it has to do with the structuring of one's mind. And that one of the most salient forms of psychological structure relates to space. Therefore, the quality and integrity of the space we inhabit has a direct relationship to our psychological wellness. We have re-conceptualized traditional residential care with this principle in mind. The result is a 5 resident boutique experience without the air of exclusivity.

Residential Care for The Non Conventional Structure

The non conventional experience is birthed from a person's attempt to make sense of  an enigmatic world. While the person is often aware of guiding social contracts — often acutely so — he or she experiences little to no sense of attachment to them. This is not because the person does not desire to be attached to these norms, but because they find it difficult, if not impossible, to understand their relationship to them. Therefore, chronically mentally ill persons have the experience of something being fragmented and disjointed in their relationship to society. Residential care can aid in the task of constructing a subjective world that makes sense while simultaneously being linked to a community.
